Acceptance of terms

Maddocks will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website or the use of any website that you may gain access to from Maddocks.
Maddocks will use reasonable endeavors to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the site. We will not be in any way liable for any material or data sent or received or not sent or received or for any of the above mentioned damages that result from the use or inability to use the products for sale through this site.
In no circumstances shall our liability and that of our suppliers to you and/or any third parties for any of the above exceed €200.

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of Ireland and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of Irish courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.

Conditions Of Use
No contract will exist between you and Maddocks for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Maddocks confirms that it has accepted and dispatched your order. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Maddocks sends the email to you (once it has left the information system of the company), whether or not you receive the email.
We may not accept your order for one of the following reasons:
• We may have been unable to obtain authorization for your payment.
• The product you ordered may be out of stock. (See Product Availability – below.)
• We may have identified a pricing or product description error.
• There may have been a failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Items featured on the site are held in stock, and every effort will be made to complete an order to customer requirement. No liability is accepted where Maddocks is unable to complete an order. The customer’s statutory rights are unaffected.
These Terms and Conditions, and all matters connected with any order you place on our website, are governed by Irish law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts in relation to all matters connected with, or arising out of, the Website or any order you place on the Website.
Cancellation Policy
Orders are typically dispatched within 2 working day of the order being placed.
It is possible to cancel up until the product has been dispatched. To cancel please phone us on: 01-2868418 or email us info@maddock.ie – quoting in the subject line : CANCEL and the relevant reference number.
Returns Policy
We intend to supply only the highest quality products and believe you will be delighted with your product from Maddocks. However, if you are unhappy with the product in anyway it can be returned to us following the steps outlined below. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible.
When you purchase online, you have a statutory right to return a product (other than perishable produce or a special order) up to 7 days after your order has been delivered. We can change or cancel your order up until it has been dispatched.
If you return the product in its original unused condition (with the tags not removed, unmarked and unused) including packaging and fit for resale within seven working days of the order being received, we will refund you the cost of the product or replace it (if available) as soon as possible following our agreement to do so (excluding cost of postage and transport). You will be responsible for paying for the return carriage of the goods.
All items you wish to return have to be received by us within 14 days of delivery (ie. the day after the vouched date of dispatch to you). Please include all relevant packing slips and documentation when returning the product.
You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. We cannot be held responsible for non-arrival of returned goods.
Pricing Policy
All products on our Website are displayed in € Euro and include Vat charged in Ireland at 21%. For sale of these goods to countries outside of the EU, local import taxes may be payable by the customer for which Maddocks accept no liability.
We are entitled to make adjustments to our prices to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, the imposition of any taxes or duties, due to an error or omission or the price for the product on the website is wrong.
Product Availability
All of the products featured on our website have been carefully selected. If an item sells out we will take it off the Website at the earliest opportunity and it may not be made available again. If items that you order should be out of stock, or delayed for any reason, we will try to contact you at the e-mail address you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you, or receive no response to our e-mail, we will continue to process the remaining items on your order. All items are subject to availability.
Payment
We accept most major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Laser, Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and Paypal. We take payment from your card at the time of purchase.
Delivery Information
Orders are typically dispatched within three working days of purchase.
Delivery within Ireland
Any deliveries over 500g are automatically chosen for courier delivery at €9.00, however An Post regular postal delivery for lighter packages is available for deliveries in Republic of Ireland if wished.
Courier delivery is available to all counties within Ireland (including Northern Ireland). As a rule your order will take one working day to arrive by courier once it has been dispatched.
Please Note: We will always endeavour to meet these timings, however as the courier service is a third party, not directly controlled by us there may be delays outside of our control.
A signature is required on delivery so please ensure that you will be at the delivery address to sign for your parcel. It is a good idea to give a work address if you will not be at home during the day. Please give us a mobile number so that if you are not there, we or the Courier can contact you.
Delivery to all other destinations
For UK, Europe and Rest of World deliveries we use regular postal delivery with An Post. Maddocks is not liable for any import duty on international orders.

Deliveries to European countries generally take 4-8 working days from dispatch, while international deliveries may take 6-10 working days.

Refund Policy
Items purchased on our website can be returned provided that you have first notified us by email within 7 days of the purchase and the goods are then returned in a re-sellable condition within 7 days of notification, which is at our discretion, with any swing tickets still attached.
Please note that we cannot refund any cost for postage that you may have paid, unless we have sent you an item incorrectly or the item is deemed to be faulty.
For your own protection when returning any items, we suggest that you use Recorded Delivery, as we will not issue refunds for any items that fail to reach us. Your statutory rights are not affected.
