EVO High beams
The highly concentrated light of the EVO high beams has a particularly wide range. This provides optimal lighting for the rider’s view and ensures safety during on- or off-road riding. SW-MOTECH sought out a reliable partner for the development of the new EVO fog lights and relied on the expertise of a long-standing top manufacturer from the automotive sector. Development is focused on meeting the strictest quality standards while also maintaining a compact shape: the EVO high beams are resistant to water and dust. with an IP69 protective class rating. Powerful LEDs provide the best view. while wear-resistant housings ensure long life.

Approval notice
The lights have an ECE test mark (ECE R113 Rev.2). ECE numbers allow installation without third-party approval from a testing institute such as TÜV or DEKRA. The following are decisive in determining how headlights are to be mounted: the national StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Act; § 50) within the Federal Republic of Germany and. within Europe. EEC directive 93/92 regarding lighting and signaling devices for two-wheelers and three-wheelers. Among other things. these state the following:
– Mounting two high beam lights is permitted
– In the case of two high beam lights. the distance between the two lit surfaces must not be greater than 200 mm
– The front of a motorcycle must have a white light and the back a red light; a yellow light may be used on the sides
– When mounting lights in pairs. they must be symmetrical to the center of the vehicle and positioned at the same height
– The luminosity of the lights must be identical
– High beams must not be operated at the same time as the fog lights
Regulations for approval in the respective country must be clarified prior to purchasing the product.
